12-5-12 Messed Up Dreams

Why do I keep having these dreams of trains that I and 3 others and the dog end up on? Lots of hills that we go up and down and almost go over a cliff at the end...  The bottom of the strain car has a hole that alot of stuff keeps falling out of when we go over bridges and we are actually siting in an inclied position on the same kind of junk and holding onto straps or something. Theres tanks that for some reason i think they are some kind of refueling station that we pass by on regular intervals. I feel they are similar to propane even though ive never seen this kind before .. long skinny tanks that stand upright and then have clusters of speres on top and half way to the top.. they are solid white and when they put them in the build a huge scafolding to do so. I know this becase in the dream i just awoke from.. it started with them cutting down trees and brances and vines over my house the scafolding was even over my house and in my dream my house sat back farther than mine does now. The 2 of the 3 other people i know. My girlfriend, her son and the dog but the 3rd guy i have no clue as to who he is. I feel he makes me real uncomfortable.. i just wish i knew why i keep having this dream.. ugg

10.18.12 busy busy busy

Well finally got the camper moved in sunday, albeit not where I wanted it but its there to stay for a while. Mom wanted it moved a ways and turned around but between not finding anyone to move it yet again and finding rotted spots and the 2 back walls are coming apart and I dont think it can be moved again until I repair it.
I also redid moms waterlines in her bathroom that was busted up and the faucet wouldnt turn off.. I've replaced all of it. I also need to jack up and level her trailer as well... I am hoping to get that done but after all the rain last night I am not sure that will be possible before next week. Well I guess I need to get off this coffee break and get back to work..

10.8.12 Interesting Things to Ponder

I am still waiting to find out more about the camper that I am trading my shed for.  They put stuff on the roof to fix it but still cannot get an answer from them as to if it is or not.. the latest answer that I received was, "I don't know if it did or not cause I haven't been down there to look at it, but if it didn't fix it I can't afford to replace the roof." Well ya know, I don't know either, but will be stopping by to look at it thins morning on my way home for sure. I also just got off messenger from a long time friend that has also offered me a house (contract for deed) at a rather good price I guess..but said "no down payment if you clean it up and or fix it up". The house is in a town some 25 miles away, so will have to find an entirely different job as well.. My friend also suggested 3 places that he says hires all the time and also said he could set it up to where I wouldn't have to make a payment for the first month or so if I was interested... it really sounds too good to be true.. so at this time I'm gonna throw it up to God with prayer for discernment and also talk to Sandi about it before even thinking about making a decision... either way I'm hoping to hear from my other friend about getting this camper moved this week...

10.6.12 Even During the Dark Times There's Sometimes a Light to Guide You

The people called me about the trailer and said they were putting a second coat on the camper "cause it still had a small leak above the sink" and if we still wanted it that it would be ready in the next few days. I called around and posted on Facebook about getting some one to pull it for me but to n avail, no luck. So about at Witt's end I posted again about maybe seeing if anyone knew of some one that could attach a 5th wheel hitch to the truck.... out of the blue an friend that I grew up with sends me a message and tells me he could do it pretty cheap. We gathered ourselves and went to pick up the hitch and talked to the people who had the trailer about what was going on and they said "we think we got it fixed but will see the after the rain hits tonight". We made our way to my friends house and get looking and well needless to say with this truck we are truly SOL cause the hitch has to be attached to the frame and there is no way to that with this truck cause the bed is actually sitting up on risers; however, my friend made a call to his cousin and said he will have it hauled fig me for free in the next few days... Thank you Jesus for looking out for me in the dark times..

10.5.12 Like an Ant I Have High Hopes

Well went by to see about the trailer and it still had a small leak.. they said they were going to be putting another coating up and hoping that it takes and fixes the problem. I hope it works.. It is supposed to rain non stop over the next few days or so, so I'm hoping for the best.

10.02.12 Second Day of Deer Season

Bought my deer tags last night took forever to find a place that would seek them to me ... china mart was not about to have some one in the sporting goods section .. waited for some one to come around for about 30 mins and no one showed.. tried having some one paged still a no show.. so we went to eat and then hit the local sporting goods store... they said they don't sell em... so back to k-mart.. and the lady working pulled each sheet off...then said oops.. needless to say it was supposed to be one long sheet other wise its no good... let's hope it works...  I plan on going out today maybe ... but might have to wait til Thursday..

Update on the trailer.. I still don't know much about what's going on with it yet other than I was told that it just had a leak and that they were trying to repair it... I'm going to try and go look at it after work today..

9-28-12 All Things Not What They Seem

After work today while waiting to cash my check I was approached and was told that the trailer wasn't as bad as was thought, that they plan on getting the stuff to water proof it better cause there was still a bit of a leak and that it will be fixed before we trade... we shall see but my hopes are not going to be up at this point..

9-26-12 The Rain (and update)

This storm set has been aweful, really it has but im guessing its to teach me to look at things a bit defrently.. (sigh) Sandi is going to go all negative on me again I bet as she seems to been doing all week.. For those who dont know, I really. really hate being in the rain and since I hadnt gotten everything out of the way, Nate and I had to move a few things this morning... well guess what, we got soaked.. besides that the dinning room table that we had to move, broke in half.. shortly there after I get the phone call about the trailer that was supposed to meved for us today. The call was not good at all and was telling me that we probably was not wanting the the trailer.. apparently, he says, its gonna need a new roof.. he didnt say exactly what happened but im thinking its storm damage...

On the up side if it is just a major leak then im glad cause now we know and if its storm damage then I guess we were meant to not be in it... perhaps its just the same as everything else.. since I spoke of it, I didnt deserve to have it... (sigh) I guess ill just smother myself with a pillow now and go to sleep...

9-25-12 one of my favorite fables

From the time i very first heard this story, i fell in love with it.. its teaches that you should be satisfied with your station in life and to let you know even the most simple person's life can be just as green as the other side of the fence...

I hope you enjoy it as well as I have all these years..

The Stonecutter a Chinese Fable

There was once a stonecutter, who was dissatisfied with himself and with his position in life.

One day, he passed a wealthy merchant's house, and through the open gateway, saw many fine possessions and important visitors. "How powerful that merchant must be!" thought the stonecutter. He became very envious, and wished that he could be like the merchant. Then he would no longer have to live the life of a mere stonecutter.

To his great surprise, he suddenly became the merchant, enjoying more luxuries and power than he had ever dreamed of, envied and detested by those less wealthy than himself. But soon a high official passed by, carried in a sedan chair, accompanied by attendants, and escorted by soldiers beating gongs. Everyone, no matter how wealthy, had to bow low before the procession. "How powerful that official is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a high official!"

Then he became the high official, carried everywhere in his embroidered sedan chair, feared and hated by the people all around, who had to bow down before him as he passed. It was a hot summer day, and the official felt very uncomfortable in the sticky sedan chair. He looked up at the sun. It shone proudly in the sky, unaffected by his presence. "How powerful the sun is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be the sun!"

Then he became the sun, shining fiercely down on everyone, scorching the fields, cursed by the farmers and laborers. But a huge black cloud moved between him and the earth, so that his light could no longer shine on everything below. "How powerful that storm cloud is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a cloud!"

Then he became the cloud, flooding the fields and villages, shouted at by everyone. But soon he found that he was being pushed away by some great force, and realized that it was the wind. "How powerful it is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be the wind!"

Then he became the wind, blowing tiles off the roofs of houses, uprooting trees, hated and feared by all below him. But after a while, he ran up against something that would not move, no matter how forcefully he blew against it —a huge, towering stone. "How powerful that stone is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a stone!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a stone!"

Then he became the stone, more powerful than anything else on earth. But as he stood there, he heard the sound of a hammer pounding a chisel into the solid rock, and felt himself being changed. "What could be more powerful than I, the stone?" he thought. He looked down and saw far below him the figure of a stonecutter.

9.21.12 Update On Our New Home

Well it looks like its getting ready to be a go... they came down and looked at our place today and we have went and looked at the trailer on Tuesday nite and again I went and looked during the day Wednesday so I could look at the outside a bit better.. yeah it needs work but its more room and will be a step closer to some normalcy. Just last spring I was told "you only have a real home if you have a real working stove" haha that was funny and even funnier was that less than a week later I found a camper stove for sale and then bought it... well now we will be even a step closer than than.. lol

Anyways that's the update so far,

9/17/12 Really? Really? Hmmmm

I woke up with a feeling of dread today and just couldn't seem to shake it, when I headed over to mom's where Sandi and Nate were, I found out that the guy that was talking to me about the camper wanted me to call him. Immediately my stomach flipped... I repeatedly tried to call him for about an hour and left multiple messages on his answering machine. He called me back around 7 ish just as we were about to sit down for supper. He wanted to know if I owned my shed and wanted to know if I would be wanting to maybe work out a deal for it... I told him I would still need to see this camper of his before making any kind of decision...

9/16/12 Rumage sale... Sold!

Well after the hard work of getting the things done and prepped for the rummage sale that we had been getting ready for the past few weeks its finally over. We sold about $60 worth of stuff that we needed to get out of our little house.. Mom cashed in with $110 mostly for movies and jewelry. On the good side I happened on the chance to talk to a guy about possibly buying a travel trailer off of him on payments, I'm planning on going down to talk to him about it more some time this week, maybe tonight after getting every thing put up from what we didn't get sold from this rummage sale... I'll keep ya updated..

9/14/12 Ghosts from the past

Had thought I was going to have the simple day of going by and filling out an application for a different job after cashing my work check before heading home.... I went to the place and received my application and headed back out to the car to fill it out. Low and behold 2 pages into it I hit a wall. According to a new federal law I will not be able to work at the place I was trying to apply for nor will I be able to work at the job I'm at now when they do the annual security check. So as it seems, I will have to be looking for a new job anyways but now its a bit more of an urgent situation... ~W

9-10-12

I know I haven't been keeping up as of late and really haven't been writing as I promised myself that I would every few days to post when I have the chance... I know I know I should be taken out and be flogged right? Well anyways we finally made it to town to the internet, I know I have blogger on my phone as well and that is how I posted the previous one I believe but I can't remember... Anyways recently I have been a really lazy butt I guess and slacking on a lot of things that I know I should be hunkering down on but I really can't remember why or how I haven't. I draw a blank when I try and go over the last few weeks in my head and don't know what I have done.. Matter fact, I don't really remember writing the last entry until I saw it in my list . I remember going to a friends house last weekend and we played a trivia game, "Time" and Nate played Black Ops and Halo: Reach with his kids, I remember drying all of the tents because they got wet in the back of the truck from all of the monsoon like rains of the last week.... Ah that's right, the rain... perhaps it is because of all of the rain, the entire 14 inches of rain that we received that also killed a lot of my garden... OK so that being said, I know I've been at work and stressing over the fact of not having a boss now cause she quit and things not getting done, I also know I have applied for a job for the state with better pay and better hours, and have listened to several talk radio shows while at work as well. Oh just remembered this new phone, social media.. err rather face plant book.. I guess I really have done more than I could remember... anyways will write more later . I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up but will do soon.

Beer beer beer

A long time ago, way back in history, when all there was to drink was nothin but cups of tea. Along came a man by the name of Charlie Mops, and he invented a wonderful drink and he made it out of hops.

He must have been an admiral a sultan or a king, and to his praises we shall always sing. Look what he has done for us he's filled us up with cheer! Lord bless Charlie Mops, the man who invented beer beer beer tiddly beer beer beer.

The Curtis bar, the James' Pub, the Hole in the Wall as well one thing you can be sure of, its Charlie's beer they sell so all ye lads a lasses at eleven O'clock ye stop for five short seconds, remember Charlie Mops 1 2 3 4 5

He must have been an admiral a sultan or a king, and to his praises we shall always sing. Look what he has done for us he's filled us up with cheer! Lord bless Charlie Mops, the man who invented beer beer beer tiddly beer beer beer.

A barrel of malt, a bushel of hops, you stir it around with a stick, the kind of lubrication to make your engine tick. 40 pints of wallop a day will keep away the quacks. Its only eight pence hapenny and one and six in tax, 1 2 3 4 5

He must have been an admiral a sultan or a king, and to his praises we shall always sing. Look what he has done for us he's filled us up with cheer! Lord bless Charlie Mops, the man who invented beer beer beer tiddly beer beer beer.

The Lord bless Charlie Mops!

Craziness 8-27-12

Oh the craziness that family will put you through at times. I have this cousin that his newest "fun" thing to do when he is bored is to put me down or make seem mad or even make me seem crazy to others... last year he made it his goal in life to constantly put me down and make me look stupid to others, this being said, according to him "your bow will never shoot and you will never get it up to the legal limits of 40 lbs draw weight, and even if you do, it will break the first time you shoot it because you don't know the first thing about making a bow."  Really? Well as it seems my bow shoots at 46 lbs and has fired numerous times... this one I believe was out of jealousy but I never can tell..

The next time we were dealing with the yard flooding with sewer water from the sewer in the street and I had picked up several leeches and posted the pictures on Facebook to which my cousin in his infinate wisdom of nature has to try and make me out to be stupid states... " you don't know what you're talking about that is not a leech but is a common slug" and then tries to get me to argue the point, when I post pictures of a slug he says "there are many types of slugs and that's just a different kind than the one you posted before" I finally told him to come over and I would put it on him and let him see first hand that it is not a slug but a leech, to which he declined to do...

This time around he has on 2 occasions last week and again twice tonight attempted to both make me look crazy and then look like a prejudice something rather... before it was about a post about seeing a drone fly over which has been documented to which he poked fun and made fun then quickly changed the subject to something else.. this time he flat out called me a "white suppremesist" and "leader of the KKK" over an article I posted about an egg shortage.... needless to say I deleted him from Facebook but that still didn't stop him, he started emailing me and private messeging me telling me that I'm crazy and that I need to get professional help, and accusing me of doing things to him.... he told me I was "paranoid and delusional" then also told me I was a "wanna be army type that didn't know shit and can only survive off others because when the going gets tough, you quit." Really? Wow! I think this is funny coming from a guy that got kicked outta the marines during boot camp "because I wouldn't let them controlled me" really? Oh and refuses to work a regular job cause he "owes 10+ years on back taxes for not filing" yet he worked as a cook at Denny's for a month and quit cause he "couldn't take the staff who all had bipolar disorders" .... hmmm and calls me complaining that he and his dad got into it and was kicked out of the house cause his dad was moving back into it.... have I mentioned that my cousin is a 55 yr old "man"....

Sigh, sorry about ranging tonight after hot even posting in nearly a month but I had to get it out

Go green lol

Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 8:26pm Checking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the older woman, that she should bring her own grocery bags because plastic bags weren't good for the environment. The woman apologized and explained, "We didn't have this green thing back in my earlier days." The young clerk responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations." She was right -- our generation didn't have the green thing in its day. Back then, we returned milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they really were recycled. But we didn't have the green thing back in our day. Grocery stores bagged our groceries in brown paper bags, that we reused for numerous things, most memorable besides household garbage bags, was the use of brown paper bags as book covers for our schoolbooks. This was to ensure that public property, (the books provided for our use by the school) was not defaced by our scribblings. Then we were able to personalize our books on the brown paper bags. But too bad we didn't do the green thing back then. We walked up stairs, because we didn't have an escalator in every store and office building. We walked to the grocery store and didn't climb into a 300-horsepower machine every time we had to go two blocks. But she was right. We didn't have the green thing in our day. Back then, we washed the baby's diapers because we didn't have the throwaway kind. We dried clothes on a line, not in an energy-gobbling machine burning up 220 volts -- wind and solar power really did dry our clothes back in our early days. Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing. But that young lady is right; we didn't have the green thing back in our day. Back then, we had one TV, or radio, in the house -- not a TV in every room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a handkerchief (remember them?), not a screen the size of the state of Montana . In the kitchen, we blended and stirred by hand because we didn't have electric machines to do everything for us. When we packaged a fragile item to send in the mail, we used wadded up old newspapers to cushion it, not Styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap. Back then, we didn't fire up an engine and burn gasoline just to cut the lawn. We used a push mower that ran on human power. We exercised by working so we didn't need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity. But she's right; we didn't have the green thing back then. We drank from a fountain when we were thirsty instead of using a cup or a plastic bottle every time we had a drink of water. We refilled writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and we replaced the razor blades in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull. But we didn't have the green thing back then. Back then, people took the streetcar or a bus and kids rode their bikes to school or walked instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi service.. We had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances. And we didn't need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 23,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest burger joint. But isn't it sad the current generation laments how wasteful we old folks were just because we didn't have the green thing back then?

July 21, 2012 A Hike In The Woods

Today started out like any other day, we got up, we ate breakfast and then it changed. Sandi spotted a bald eagle, she then asked me if I wanted to go hiking. So we gathered our basic equipment and headed out to hit the trail.. I took a lot of pics some of which I posted on my Facebook but I will post one here still.. we walked for about an hour and a half or so, then turned around and head back towards the car. Along the way we picked up some materials to use for this years hunting projects and such but will talk about that in a different p most I think.. anyways, as promised here's an up to date pic from the very same pond that my home page background was made from..enjoy.

It aint easy being green... borrowed from a friend

Checking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the older woman, that she should bring her own grocery bags because plastic bags weren't good for the environment.

The woman apologized and explained, "We didn't have this green thing back in my earlier days."

The young clerk responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations."

She was right -- our generation didn't have the green thing in its day.

Back then, we returned milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they really were recycled.

But we didn't have the green thing back in our day.

6/30/12 prepper meetup

Well went to this meet up and it was more of a get to know each other deal and we learned a little bit about canning pickles... especially that in order to make good pickles you have to wear a pickle green pickle hat.. (yeah its a joke).. We did walk away with a very beautiful solid oak picnic table courtesy of the host of the meet up, aka: Thunder Ranch.. oh and by the way it is no longer a prepping group, it is now a farming alliance. Any ways, we had a blast and met a few new faces, and learned a bit about the small homestead type of farms that we didn't already know. We were supposed to be gonna dispatch a hog and butcher it out that morning but had gotten a bit too hot to do so on that day, so hopefully maybe next time.

HEAT WAVE!!! 6/29/12

Wow its been hot.. not just hot but HOT! Whew! Yesterday it was 108° F and today it was 107° F tomorrow we are supposed to get a break of 103° but who knows.. I'm hoping that it would be even cooler but who knows. We are going to another self sufficiency meet tomorrow and learn to butcher a hog, chicken and rabbits.. I already know how to do rabbits but its been a long time since I plucked a bird.. I figure it will be a very good learning experience for Nate too though... we have to leave way early just to get there to butcher out the hog .... maybe I'll post some pics or at least some info tomorrow about it while its fresh in my head

Respect from the ex just doesn't even happen

Apparently my daughter cut herself back in my ex wife's birthday. I didn't find out about this incident until this last Saturday which was 2 weeks later. Matter of fact no one even told me at all, not my ex, not my step kids, not anybody. I had to find this out by reading on Facebook that she was in the hospital and that was only because my youngest stepdaughter said she had went to visit her at the hospital in another city. I had no clue as to why she was there or why other than I had figured it had happened on the 4th because that is when she quit posting on Facebook. Either way it is plain disrespect full and pretty shitty that no one let me know that my 14 yr old daughter almost died because of a 4-6 inch long cut through her bicep which could have very easily severed the artery that is there and wouldn't have necessarily had a chance to make it to the hospital for help. This is the 3rd time that her boyfriend has been there to help and has done way so much more than her mom has for her when things like this happen.. I do believe I'm liking him more and more, he takes care of my baby girl for me... Thanks Micheal!
Than for the read,
~W

PS
Just wanted to tell ya out there, I know I'm no where close to being the Christian that I wish I were, matter of fact I have wasted many of the gifts that have been given to me through God. But the world needs to start to Pray.. just pray, not necessarily for anything, but just pray. It brings you closer to God, and in these days He is very much needed.

Mothers day weekend was a hoot

Well 2 weeks ago we made arrangements for us to go camping with some friends but they seemed to fizzle out when it actually came down to meeting us out there... that's OK we had a really really good time out camping without the company of our friends out there... we got out there about 5 pm Friday nite then hit walmart down south and picked up some things that we had forgotten to take...
Saturday morning I woke up at about 7ish am and Sandi woke up about 8, we woke Nate up at about 8:30... He didn't seem to care, or rather didn't realise the time. We ate a couple hot dogs cooked in aluminum foil and covered with coals from the breakfast coffee... we left the camp site about 10 AM headed to the bait shop at the resort.. they were fairly overpriced but we needed live bait especially after being told that the crappie were only hitting on minnows, and Sandi had been wanting to be use minnows for some time this season so I picked up a dozen; however, the red wigglers when I opened them I noticed that they were frozen solid... took them back and wasted about 20 mins getting new ones... all we caught were a few large mouth bass but were well under their size limit, but Nate caught a very big blue gill.
We got back to camp with 3 fish about supper time and only had 3 because some one gave us 2 very large crappie.. we desired to be a bit different and wrap them in foil over the grill but I burned the blue gill... Nate lucked out cause he doesn't really like fish anyways.
Sunday or rather Mother's Day, we awoke early again, but we hung out around the campsite until about noon entertaining Sandi with me and Nate having a projectile fight throwing tree gulls at each other and chasing each other around the campsite.. after which we went fishing again .. Sandi caught a whopper 12 in crappie along with a about 7 more keepers while I only caught about 4 keepers... after we ran out of what minnows we had left over from the day before, we headed back to camp, I cleaned the fish while Sandi and Nate started on gathering our gear. As I started taking down the tents  Sandi tells me it was the best mothers day ever.
I am so glad it made her happy and that she had a good Mother's Day...
Until next time

New roof UPDATE 43012

Well with the flash storm we had today, I'm proud to say that my roof held up with being water proof with the exception of a small leak that only dripped an couple of times. If it doesn't rain tomorrow I will fix the leak...

Still didn't get pictures.. perhaps I will get those tomorrow as well

Adding a roof 4/28/12

Yesterday I bought lumber and corigated fiberglass to add a roof over the kitchen, so far so good. I did manage to burn my finger on a very hot screw. I will never buy the crap screws that I bought yesterday for the simple fact that the quality is lacking and strip out as you try and screw them in. I had issues while putting it al together though. First thing that happened was oje of the walls I was re-attaching which is made of a tarp, collapsed and tore breaking the frame free of the house. Then my drill died which put work off for a while while we ran back to town to get another drill. After getting back home it decided to rain pour on me while I finished constructing the roof. It now also has a skylite due to the corrigated fiberglass.. I also covered the plywood with viso-elastic coating and will be adding a second coat when i get home today...

I didn't get any pictures because I didn't think to have Sandi take pictures.

Trying to get preppers together in the vern 4.9.12

Im working towards trying to gather people together in the mt Vernon Illinois area, we all need to pull together and share ideas and techniques ... I know alot of things that I am willing to share but some thinks I do not know anything about.. we need to have a network locally that we can start so that we know what all we can do to pull together if need be. Knowledge is power and we knowing is half the battle....

April 5 2012 First contact

Well the past couple of days I have had several text mesesges that have been interesting to say the least. To start out I was contacted by one person saying they had a personal assistant job for me, it was an answer to my Craig's listing. The odd side of this one one was that when I texted them back they said contact me Imediately for a job, so I did.. they wanted me to process money into my bank account, simply put it seemed to be something of the old Nigeria scam.. so that was the end of that one. Last night I received one that said that they wanted me to process cashiers checks and western union money grams... I stopped there, but looked it up today the company thy say they were representing was a clothing outfiter based in another country with the closest one in Hawaii the text came from Macon,  Ga. Now today im contacted by a place that claims to be a major pharmasudical company... I colled them and told them what was going on and oh boy were they not happy.. apparently I was the 19th person to contact them about the same deal. This person wanted me to work for them saying that I would get paid $20 an hour doing data entry and working on software, also processing orders or making presentations with excell... seems funny about that part for sure.. but the spin was rather awesome sounding .. I was almost peeking an interest...made made a shot though and got an email address from the person as well to contact this same person... supossedly I will be contacted soon by the investigator and will give him my findings on this guy... anyways gotta go.. but will leave ya with a cute picture..

New stove

Found a stove in the paper, the ad said it was a camper stove with oven for $50... I jumped on it and told Sandi about it considering we were gonna buy a new one today anyhow. So I called and called but no answer until about 3ish.. I was sweating it that we would lose the stove to someone else... mean while we hit a couple of rummage sales and snagged 2 tents, a bow quiver for Nate along with 3 arrows with broad heads, and a change counter for a big whoping 16 bucks... we also had to pick up a few other things from Lowe's so that I could rig the stove so that it would work using a propane tank and an old gas grill regulator... after all is said and done the oven doesn't work yet but the rest of it works like a charm... I feel accomplished today and think I can rest easy even though im now officially broke...

Demons abound? Just something to think about

In the news lately there has been a few cases of people acting strangely odd on airplanes .. to this I would like to add that at first seeing about this I said to Sandi after the second one happened "wow, possetion is going land something is starting..." tonight I looked up a few things that pertain to this such a thing and it does sound as if something is going on... here's is what was said on almost all of the sites I looked at... once you read some of these aflictions you may note that it is possible.. I know some of my readers are not Christians but im saying right now, demons are real regardless of what religion you follow..
From the King James Version evidence set to show that demons do exist....

Matt 9:32-33 " 32 As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil. 33 And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel."

Matt 12:22 " 22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw."

Mark 5:1-20 " 1 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. 2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, 3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: 4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. 5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. 6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, 7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. 8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. 9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. 10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. 11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. 12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. 13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. 14 And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done. 15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. 16 And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine. 17 And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts. 18 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. 19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. 20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel."

Mark 7:25-29 " 25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet: 26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. 27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. 28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. 29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter."

Now here's the research of possible signs of possession and or oppression.....

"Mental Changes Affecting The Person

1 Look for changes in personality. This is usually seen when the person is affable and suddenly becomes extremely quiet.

2 Someone who is normally very active suddenly becomes isolative.

3 Look for changes in sleep patterns.

4 Look for sudden weight loss or gain.

5 Look for changes in attitude and behavior, usually becoming hostile.

6 Someone who begins cursing a lot when that is out of character for them.

7 Notice if they suddenly have an aversion to religious objects. They may be a person who normally goes to Church but suddenly despises the thought.

8 Look for evidence of self- mutilation.

9 Look for changes in the way the person dresses.

10 Observe their personal hygiene and look for changes.

11 Look for evidence of occult materials in the room.

12 Look for destructiveness on the part of a person, especially if that destruction is of religious objects.

13 They may become abusive and threatening for no reason.

14 They may become violent. They often attempt to hurt animals.

15 The person may experience severe nightmares or night terrors.

16 They may perform acts of humiliation, such as urinating on themselves, etc.

17 They may be sexually pre-occupied. Excessive masturbation or doing it in front of others.

18 Take note of what appears to be a different personality or multiple personalities.

19 Look for unusual changes in diet. Foods that were once favorites may now be repulsive to the person. They may eat foods that they once detested.

20 Take note if they seem to have blackouts in their memory.

Physical Changes Affecting The Person

1 The person involved may go for long periods of time without blinking their eyes. (Can indicate a neurological condition)

2 The person may appear catatonic. (Can also be a sign of mental illness)

3 The person speaks a language they could not possibly know. (Or speak English with unusual accents.)

4 The person speaks in tongues.

5 The person will become completely rigid where they cannot be moved at all, even by multiple people.

6 Look for changes in the eyes. They may turn almost black like shark eyes.

7 Look for obvious changes in their features.

8 The person may possess inhuman strength.

9 The person may exhibit “precognition,” the ability to predict the future.

10 The person displays “retro cognition,” the ability to know about past events they should not know about.

11 The person may be able to know something about a person they have not met.

12 Their voice may change. It may go from high to low to guttural.

13 They may be able to tell what you are thinking.

14 They may move in some unusual way. For example, they may seem to glide instead of walk.

15 Writing or symbols may appear on the body in the form of welts and scratches. Look especially in areas they could not reach.

16 They may levitate.

17 Hair or eye color may change.

18 There may be multiple voices coming from the person at the same time.

19 Take note if animals appear to be frightened of the person, especially if they begin acting fearful when there are personality changes in the person.

A couple of these symptoms can be related to medical or psychological conditions but most of them fall outside the realm of science. If you start to see a few items in this category, there is serious cause for concern. At this point, you start to take items from the first category and see if they are consistent with items from things in this second category, or the third one I am about to detail. Obviously, some are more telling than others. You have to give weight to the values when you try to make a determination. The Holy Spirit should be called on for guidance and discernment, especially where there are only vague manifestations." Taken from  http://fspp.net/warn%20poss.htm

Gone fishing

Mar 21 2012

Went fishing again today and I got a text teling me one of my residents (the one that has been in and out of the hospital the past few weeks) was being taken off of life support. About 3 hours later i get told that he had passed away. Its sad that alot of people with developmental disabilities really have no one, he had been in the system for most of his life and his family never had anything to do with him after putting him in a sanaterium at a young age. It really is sad to think how it must be to die alone, even if you are in a comatose state and non responsive when a person in in the room with you.. Do you still hear it? Do you still feel alone? Are you scared considering that you may be afraid to be alone? The resident I refer to was pschizofrenic and heard voices on a regular basis that he would talk to or yell at... Did you know that most people with that disorder hear either a woman whispering or a man with a deep voice yelling at them... I'm guessing he heard the woman, always reffered to it as honey or b*tch... then again having a disorder like this could also be some form of possession couldn't it? I saw some strange things with this guy. Enough that made me wonder, including not being able to walk and move one moment and then beating the crap outtaa me and walking around the next moment. I know some people don't believe demons exist, even Christians don't believe in them anymore, but yet they will tell you that the bible and everything in it is real. My question is how can you believe in one and not the other..

While we were fishing today I was contacted by an old very good friend who stopped by and we fished for several hours, its good to still have friends that want to hang out. We remenissed about old times and some of the very stupid things we did in our younger days.

OK well im gonna leave this post ti be pondered for the moment and will post more later...

Rather ill over the last few days

Mar 19 2012
Its been a different time this weekend, I became sick and had horrible diarea and felt like vomiting the entire time. I also had problems sleeping between the horrible visions that kept me awake during times of fever flashes of both hot and cold. Apparently the dog was having issues as well and I kept boucing him around the bed every time he would just find a comfortable spot I was launching him back up and into the air to find another comfortable spot.

This is day three of this sickness, both the nausia and diarea have subsided but my lungs still feel sorta full... that is how it all started was with a cough... apparently 2 of my residents are also sick with what ever this horrid bug is.

Tomorrow is laundry day and we plan on washing the heaving items and this is the time I hope to upload this entry, we try to the heavy items such as the blue jeans at a laundrymat simply because they are such a problem to wash by hand. After the items are washed and dried I will be packing most of mine away because warm season is back and will not be needing so many long pants or long warm comfy shirts..

Ahh fishing, Saturday we went fishing at the wall and caught 5 nice sized brown catfish, I caught 4 and Sandi caught a really nice size one as well.. and yeah still love her even though she laughed at me when I lost my footing and slid into the lake...  :-P
Well this looks like it is all for today..

Thanks for reading,

Update to things that are goig on..

I am going to have to just start making entries and then post them all when ever I get internet access.. I don't know why I haven't already started doing this anyways, but I shall from now on...

Sandi panted the house a nice bright barn red color and this week plans were to paint in the white trim. I am also planing on adding a couple windows to our small abode to add some extra air circulation, I'm soon glad that spring warmth has finally arrived...
